Ahmed Ramadan held several senior management positions in various business sectors throughout the MENA region over the past 25 years.

He joined Power Generation Engineering & Services Company (PGESCo) in April 2020 in the position of Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for leading the planning, implementation and integration of the organization strategic direction through leading the company and establishing policies that reinforce the company’s mission, values and vision. Moreover; he oversees the company’s ongoing expansion efforts into emerging markets.

Prior joining PGESCo, Ahmed held numerous leadership positions within General Electric (GE) for nearly 14 years, he headed GE Gas Power in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA) as the Vice President for Project Development as well as the Chief Executive Officer for North East Africa. His specific areas of experties include structuring complex deals, identifying funding opportunities and developing technical and financial solutions from the conceptual stage of a project through completion, in collaboration with key stakeholders such as engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms, investors, financiers, consultants and influencers.

Previously; he had held a number of senior positions in the banking sector, specializing in Corporate and Investment banking in organizations such as the Commercial International Bank, Citibank and Cisco Capital.

Ahmed received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo.
