Nader Saad is a results-driven banking executive with over 25 years of experience in Commercial, SME Banking, and Credit Risk. Since 2018, Nader has been leading the SME Banking Group at Banque du Caire (BdC), where he has established a distinctive SME business model. His approach, supported by a comprehensive product offering, has positioned BdC as an industry leader and the preferred partner for SME clients in Egypt.

Before joining Banque du Caire, Nader spent 10 years at Barclays Bank Egypt, where he served as Head of Commercial Banking. In this role, he contributed to transforming the Business Banking Sector into a stand-alone, profitable line of business.

In 2017, following the acquisition of Barclays Bank Egypt by Attijariwafa Bank, Nader played a key role in formulating the SME strategy for the newly acquired entity.

Nader began his banking career in 1998 with the Export Development Bank of Egypt, where he was part of the founding team for a new SME Unit, aligning with the national agenda to support SME growth in Egypt.

Nader holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade. His professional qualifications include the Executive Leadership Program from Harvard Business School, the Future Leaders Program from the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) in cooperation with Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, and a Certificate of Corporate Directors from the Egyptian Institute of Directors (EIoD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). He also completed the Commercial Credit Program at the Johannesburg School of Finance
